Effective date: 31 May 2026 · Last updated: 31 May 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of digital products supplied by RFQS through rfqslb.store. By completing a purchase or using a product supplied by RFQS, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Parties
- Supplier: RFQS, a sole proprietorship operated by Rony Francis, based in Lebanon, Jbeil. Contact: support@rfqslb.store.
- Buyer: the individual or entity purchasing a product through rfqslb.store.
- Merchant of Record (MoR): Paddle, which acts as the online reseller and merchant of record for the transaction. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing and tax, processes refunds under Paddle’s refund policy, handles customer-service inquiries relating to billing, and appears on the buyer’s payment statement (statement descriptor as set by Paddle at checkout, typically formatted PADDLE.NET* RFQS — exact wording controlled by Paddle). The Paddle contracting entity is determined by buyer location under the Paddle Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms).
2. Products
RFQS supplies digital templates and tools for Quantity Surveying professionals. As at the effective date of these Terms, the current product is RFQS C-01 — SOW Template + Scope-Gap Audit Kit. Products are delivered electronically as downloadable files (a .zip archive containing Excel workbooks and a PDF guide). No physical goods are shipped.
3. Order and delivery
Orders are placed through Paddle’s hosted checkout. Once payment is confirmed by Paddle, the buyer receives an order confirmation email and a secure download link for the purchased product. Delivery is intended to be near-instant; if a download link is not received within 24 hours of a successful payment, the buyer should contact support@rfqslb.store with the Paddle order ID.
4. License
Upon successful purchase, RFQS grants the buyer a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the purchased product on the following terms:
- Scope: per-seat license — one named user per purchase. The named user is the individual identified at checkout or, where the buyer is an organisation, the single employee designated by that organisation to use the templates.
- Modification: the buyer may adapt and modify the purchased files for their own internal projects.
- Restrictions: the buyer may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, post publicly, or otherwise make the purchased files (or substantially derivative copies of them) available to third parties outside the buyer’s organisation. The buyer may not modify the source files for the purpose of redistribution.
- Attribution: no public attribution is required for internal use.
5. Refunds
RFQS offers a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. Full terms are in the Refund Policy. Refund requests are processed through Paddle.
6. No professional advice
RFQS products are decision-support tools and templates. They are not professional advice and do not substitute for the judgment of a qualified Quantity Surveyor, contracts professional or legal advisor reviewing the buyer’s specific situation, jurisdiction and contract structure. No professional advisor-client relationship is created by the purchase or use of an RFQS product.
7. Warranties and limitation of liability
RFQS products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of fitness for a particular project, jurisdiction, contract form, or regulatory regime. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RFQS’s total aggregate liability to any buyer in connection with a product is capped at the purchase price paid by that buyer for that product. RFQS is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or lost business opportunities. Nothing in this clause limits any rights that mandatory consumer-protection law gives the buyer and which cannot be excluded by contract.
8. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the products and the rfqslb.store website remain the property of RFQS. The license granted under Section 4 is the only right the buyer receives; no rights to RFQS’s brand, trademarks or source material are granted by purchase.
9. Termination
If the buyer breaches these Terms (in particular, the redistribution restrictions in Section 4), RFQS may terminate the license, require deletion of all copies of the product, and pursue any other remedies available in law.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the products. The parties may also resolve disputes by mediation by mutual agreement. These provisions are subject to the buyer’s mandatory consumer-protection rights, including any right under applicable law to bring proceedings in the buyer’s own jurisdiction, and to the Paddle Buyer Terms that govern the buyer’s contract with Paddle as Merchant of Record.
11. Changes
RFQS may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of a purchase governs that purchase. The “Effective date” and “Last updated” at the top of this page reflect the current version.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
13. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between the parties on their subject matter.
14. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside its reasonable control, including hosting, payment-processor or telecommunications outages, provided it takes reasonable steps to mitigate and resume performance.
