1. Decision-support tools, not professional advice
RFQS templates and tools are designed to assist Quantity Surveying professionals, contracts managers, commercial leads and project controls functions in performing their work. They are decision-support tools. They are not a substitute for the professional judgment of a qualified individual reviewing the buyer’s specific project, jurisdiction and contractual context.
2. Not legal, financial or regulatory advice
Nothing supplied by RFQS — including templates, checklists, written guides, blog content or correspondence with support — constitutes legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice on the buyer’s specific project, jurisdiction or contractual matter. Buyers requiring such advice should consult a suitably qualified professional in their jurisdiction.
3. “As-is” supply
Products are provided strictly “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty — express or implied — of fitness for any particular project, jurisdiction, contract form, regulatory regime, sector, sub-contracting arrangement or commercial model. RFQS makes no representation that any template will be suitable for a buyer’s specific use case.
4. Buyer responsibility
The buyer is solely responsible for verifying that any RFQS product is appropriate for the buyer’s intended use, and for reviewing, adapting and qualifying the output of any template before relying on it in a real project, contract negotiation, claim, audit or other live commercial context. The buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and contract requirements.
5. No professional certification or affiliation
RFQS products are not approved by, endorsed by, certified by, or affiliated with any professional body, regulatory authority, industry association, government agency or trade organisation. References to industry concepts, standards or terminology are for descriptive purposes only and do not imply any institutional endorsement.
6. No advisor-client relationship
The purchase or use of an RFQS product does not create a professional advisor-client relationship between RFQS (or Rony Francis as the operator of RFQS) and the buyer. Through the supply of digital products, RFQS is not engaged as a licensed professional advisor on the buyer’s specific project or jurisdiction.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RFQS accepts no liability for any outcome — commercial, contractual, financial, reputational or otherwise — arising from a buyer’s use of, or reliance on, any RFQS product. The contractual cap on liability set out in the Terms and Conditions applies. Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited under mandatory consumer-protection law.
